Methods to increase the self suction capacity of non clogging self-priming sewage pumps

2024-03-22

There are several ways to increase the self suction capacity of self-priming sewage pumps:

1. A vacuum pump is installed on the suction pipe of the non clogged sewage pump. Before starting the water pump, the vacuum pump is first started to fill the suction pipe with water, ensuring that the water pump starts automatically and quickly. This water absorption method requires a complete automatic control system to ensure normal operation.

2. The non clogged sewage pump reduces the bends, drop height, and horizontal spacing of the inlet pipeline.

3. This method is a bit cumbersome, but it is also very useful: the non clogged sewage pump is equipped with a suction tank in front of the pump. This method requires the installation of a suction tank on the water pump suction pipe. Before the first operation of the water pump, the tank should be manually filled with water. After the first operation, due to the height of the inlet pipe of the suction tank being higher than the water surface height inside the pipe, although the water surface height inside the tank is lower than the water surface height inside the tank, the water in the tank will not flow back and enter the pool. Therefore, the suction tank can store a certain amount of water. Moreover, because the outlet pipe of the suction tank (i.e. the suction pipe of the water pump) is lower than the water surface height inside the pipe, it can ensure that the suction pipe of the water pump is filled with water. When the water pump runs again in the future, the water in the tank is pumped away by the water pump, causing negative pressure to rise inside the tank. The water in the tank is under atmospheric pressure. Add to the suction tank, through the water tank in the suction tank.

4. Install a suction bottom valve at the end of the suction pipe of the non clogging self suction sewage pump. The suction bottom valve is actually a check valve that ensures that the water flow can only enter the suction pipe from the pool and cannot backflow. Therefore, if the suction pipe is filled with water, although the elevation of the pump axis is higher than the working water level of the pool, due to the function of the suction bottom valve, the water in the suction pipe will not flow into the pool, which can keep the suction pipe full of water and ensure that the pump can start automatically and quickly.

The self-priming performance of the self-priming sewage pump itself is crucial. For situations with higher and farther suction heads, choose a self-priming pump with good self-priming performance, so that users can use it comfortably.
